It was after around the time of my first RXbar and studying the work of Christopher Walker that I realized that the key to supporting a healthy body wasn’t synthetic substances injected into my body, the key was literally the food that I was eating.
Blue Zones are areas of the world where a great number of the population live far beyond the average life expectancy of an average human being. In Blue Zones living to 103 years old is normal. That’s impressive. One of the pillars of the long life expectancy of people living in Blue Zones is what they eat.
The issue is that we rely to much on enormous companies for our health and well being. These huge brands, in my opinion, are focused primarily on efficiency and money, not health of our communities and clearly not the health of our babies.
I did my own research and experimentation, also learning that micro nutrient deficiencies are depleting our bodies the optimal hormonal response. Also, I liked the taste of RXbar, but I didn’t love it! RXbar was simply the only option. I knew that we could do better.
